Just wanted to say ‘thanks’, I had never heard of the correct method to put on moisturizer. It makes perfect sense.

We made a change in our laundry detergent about a week ago after reading about it on this site and it has made a huge difference in my kid’s and my eczema. We’ll send an update in a few more weeks. Thank you so much for sharing this information.

I want to say thanks to Michael and all who help him with this site. It helps me a lot and I can confirm that everything what’s written here really works. The part “Your Mind & Your Skin” is very important for us, sufferes from skin problems.
In my case (eczema) I noticed that when i eat lots of pulses (lentils, beans, chickpea….) and dont eat diary products, ham and sweets my eczema gets better.
:) I am really thankful for this site.

surprised this site doesn’t get more attention. the accuracy, brevity and clarity of the advice posted here is admirable. having suffered from eczema for 15+ years, i understand the effects, and how it can be almost as psychologically damaging as it is physically, if not more… thank you so much for your help.

I am so happy to finally find a website that doesn’t promise a cure but offers helpful information. I have had eczema all my life. I normally get it when the season changes (hot to cold, winds).
I still get it badly but it is more controlled than what it was. Things that have helped me: not using soap (use goats milk soap or something natural like it), keeping cool (dont have hot showers), drinking alcohol makes it flare up so try avoid the booze!
On nights when I know im going to itch I take a hayfever tablet – this tends to help. Keep your nails cut short!
It’s horrible to live with but it HAS to be beaten! I can’t wait for the days where I can wear dresses, skirts and shorts! Wearing pants in summer REALLY doesn’t help as the heat flares it up. Its such a vicous cycle…
Anyway… thanks for the info! I am going to keep reading and make a few changes in my life to see if I get any improvements :)

Excellent website!! It’s great to hear that someone’s interested in helping others more than making a profit.
ALSO, side note for 20-year old girl: I, too, have had eczema since birth (I am now 21). Up until recently, it was only minor and during seasonal changes as well. I’ve recently become much more busy with college, work, and planning an upcoming wedding and my eczema has flared up harshly on my face (forehead and cheeks). Thankfully, I’ve discovered apple cider vinegar. I did a little research, and the ACV has antiseptic properties, plus a billion other health benefits. I drink this 2-3 times daily of the following: 1 cup warm water with 1 teaspoon Bragg’s Organic Apple Cider Vinegar and 1 teaspoon of organic, local, wildflower honey. (local wildflower honey also helps allergies!). After 3 weeks, my itching has almost completely stopped and the eczema has started to diminish. ACV has also cleared my acne up almost completely!
Hope that helps! :)
